MANAGEMENT

As we grow older, chronic diseases, such as high blood pressure, cancer, diabetes, etc. also have a higher chance to develop. To improve access to healthcare for our community, BPSOS is partnering with Office of Minority Health to carry out the Chronic Disease Management program.

CHRONIC DISEASES

EVENTS

On Saturday September 10th, from 10 AM to 3 PM, BPSOS and partner HBI-DC conducted a hepatitis, cholesterol and glucose testing clinic at Eden Center, Falls Church.

Testing is completely free without the need of ID and health insurance. However, you must fast (can only drink water) for at least 5 hours before your cholesterol testing. If you are vulnerable to those chronic diseases, we can also refer you to appropriate services and health providers in the area.

BPSOS is honored to partner with Hepatitis B Initiative of Washington DC (HBI-DC) and Endependence Center of Northern VA (ECNV) to host this clinic. Please contact us at (703) 538-2190 for more details.
